Bose Knives

I gave up on the Vols a long time ago. I have definitely become a fair-weather fan. The only orange I hold sacred anymore is.....

Not the ring, but the knife...
Campbell, don't feel so bad, you could have gone to Auburn.
Now that is something that would make you want to crawl into a hole and pull the dirt over you. Now back to the knives, Who has a NEW Tony or Reese to show?
Jim

Great knives Campbell, thanks for showing them & it's good to see you around,
-Vince

Thanks for posting Campbell all the knives. They all are beauties I really like the Big Bullet Muskrat. College Football will break your heart just ask me.

On the Bullet, I like how Tony rounded the spines...he did the same on the Green BP I picked up from Vince a while back. Feels and looks just like a lot of my old antique knives. Tony, I am curious why you only swedged the spey blade? Is that just true to the original? Not that I'm complaining or anything...it is an awesome, heavy, stout knife!!! :)

Also, John, what scale materials did you use for the other Ticks? I think I heard there were 8 or 9 of them. Do you have any pictures?

All those ticks remind me of the first time I took my wife to be camping. I'm lucky she still goes.

However, I would love to have any of those ticks. I like the scales on Campbell's but I'd settle for one of those stag ones.

The first one was really a mistake....but it worked really well for opening boxes.
The thong hole is for hanging them up in the kitchen, or work area, so my (little) kids couldn't get to them.

Received this little 3 1/4" swayback jack CPM-154 blade with ivory scales yesterday. The ivory is fabulous on this little dude. It is in my pocket sans purse. Thanks Tony

Don't give up. Vols = basketball school anyway. :D (that is my excuse and I am sticking to it.)

Ya, women’s basketball, not that there’s anything wrong with that. And Campbell it’s easy to be a fan when the Vols are winning.

Spot on knife ya got there, Hanlon.

Ok, Hanlon's post reminded me of a question I have about my swayback re the ivory. I haven't owned to many ivory knives, so I'm not a pro. I always thought that the ivory would shrink over time...but, it appears my ivory is expanding. The pins are sunk below the surface of the ivory. I'm sure it wasn't like this when it was made and it is several years old. If you run your fingernail over the pin, you can feel that it is lower than the surface of the ivory. Any thoughts? It's even a bit higher around the shield and springs.
