Bose Knives

IMO this forums members are not going to get to name this knife. There hasn't been any statement to that fact, just the opposite if I'm reading correctly. Discuss the knifes +'s & -'s that's fine but that's not what was ask by OP...

Why don't you read the OP outloud to yourself. Maybe it will soak in and you will understand better what was said. Think along the lines of being asked, "What would be a good name for this knife". Oh yea, "funny looking trapper" probably wouldn't be Tony's first choice....just sayin.

I think our opinions will influence how the knife is named. It's Tony's call, but he's not deaf!!

Fair enough...

We saw the 4.5" version,here's a 4" version..
Shrink it just a bit more, send it to me Tony & I'll name it Vince's Orgasmic Reality Trapper :D
In the meantime,If any knifemaker I do business with was to hear me say,I like micarta for EDC ,but they had it in them to do Stag & Ivory the way Tony & Reese do it,by all means,I hereby give you creative license to deliver stag and or Ivory, like we have been seeing here lately

Great Knives Tony & Reese, and Thanks for taking pictures of them & posting Kerry.

Another good name for it is...
Wait 'til Rick M. see's this one!

Since I do not think I've ever seen such a masterpiece in a trapper
The Bose Trapper would be simple & to the point

From there on out,a guy with a WT from Bose would have to say,I got a Bose WT
But the guy(or gal) who had this one, just says I've got a Bose Trapper

You'd have to know your Bose knives to know what it was..

Heck of a nice knife. There's a lot a person could do with those two blades. Thanks for posting pictures of it.

Santa Fe Trail Trapper?

Randy would call it the "Get in My Pocket Trapper," Vince the "I'll Take it Trapper."

Yeah,yeah,yeah,that's it..."I'll take it"
I LIKE IT !

Here in Oklahoma we'd call it funny looking Trapper...

I think he's on to something,'cause the grin I'd be wearing,if I had it,well,it'd be pretty funny looking

How about the ... A-H-T
"Avid Hunter's Trapper"

I like that one

I understand very well what the OP Ask. My point IS. It's a mute discussion from the start, if that is not a fact why not put all the suggestions in a hat and draw out the name? Sound reasonable? Like I stated originator of Blade pattern, maker or customer gets to name it. As stated, my suggestion "FUNNY LOOKING TRAPPER"

Another suggestion DO NOT talk down to me on a public forum.. Please do it in arm reach...

Tony has done many trappers and will without doubt do many more.

Why not Tony's Zulu Trapper?

This morning when I posted this lastest knife, I thought about what Tony had told me about needing to come up with a name for the knife. We stood there for maybe 10 or 20 seconds kinda looking around...at the floor...at the wall...at the bench...and I was thinking to myself, "I got nothin". Tony had nothing either:p. I set the knife down on the bench and went to work on my projects I had going.

When I post a knife in the forums, Tony basically just hands me the knife to shoot and lets me run with it. Unless there is something quite specific about the knife he thinks I should point out, I pretty much say very little other than what the knife is. This time I thought it would be nice to elicit name ideas from the folks in this forum that really enjoy Bose Knives. I didn't know what I was going to say about this knife until I posted it. Honestly, I just threw out the name "Panama Trapper" because I had remembered how Juan really enjoyed that half skinner blade and...uh....wait a minute....hold on...

News flash: I was just informed by TDawg via secure communications that this knife has now been officially named "Panama Trapper" in honor of Juan Mendez, uber fan of Bose Knives. Apparently Tony and Juan had talked about how it would be nice to make this trapper in a 4" frame and use that half skinner blade. I was TOTALLY UNAWARE of their conversation.

How cool is that. I named a knife...YAY!!! :thumbup::cool:

Panama Trapper is good.
I'm partial to the A-H-T though,I tried hard on that one :D
