Bose Knives

I'm glad you liked it Jerry. Of course, none of the hard work was mine but I do have a couple more that I can scan and post.

Well, I think that is just about my dream Bose! I think I need to get on the waiting list...

Friends, about a week ago Kerry posted pictures of this knife, calling it "Stag and Steel"! I too looked at those picts, and thought that they looked pretty good, then I added a line "Someone will be happy carrying that one in their pocket".

Two days ago I had just gotten back to my desk after chasing yahoos, and their was a package on my desk from Tony Bose!

I had No idea what was in it, but hope springs eternal! I opened it up, and here was the "Stag and Steel" Wharncliffe Trapper!:thumbup::eek: I couldn't believe it! Did the Postman have the wrong address???:D

Kerry's pictures are fantastic, but until you CF and CE something like this, you really don't know the thrill of holding a Bose. The flueted caps really set off the stag, and the Fed. shield just shines. The swedge and the pull are very good!

This size knife "just feels right" in your hand and pocket! And yes...Both blades are Very Sharrrrp! Have you gotten the feeling that this is a "Keeper"?? ;)

Congrats. I know that feeling. Had to drive 2 days to Atlanta to pick up my first, but it was one of the great thrills of my life. Its the one in my avatar.

I had to travel some 4000 miles and fly over, let's see, some seven countries in order to pick up my second TB knife. And it was worth every inch of the way, I must add.

Well, Tony sent me a box one time but it had postage due on it, so I refused it. I think it was something Petey had made with tapered ends…:barf:

Friends,

Yupperie, it was a Great day! I think that some of the Bose Hos should form a committee and recommend changes to the Sr. Bose on his knife making ability. My suggestion would be....include a BANDAID with each knife! ;):D;) Ha! (Maybe Some of you will..catch on to this suggestion)! ;)

And yes...it cuts and is Very Sharrrrp!

I guess that means you have truely been BITTEN by the BoseBug! Congratulations on your first bloodletting. :D

Kerry,

I thought that I was doing pretty good....it took TWO days, just before I wasn't watching..when I should have been watching! :D I bet Tony is really laughing now! ;)

Mr. Knifehead, other than the gunstock, when do we get to see all the beauties that will be sitting on Tony's bed in Atlanta?

Just in case someone might think the Old Dog was loosing his touch for the dramatic, he goes and does something like this. Personally, I think Tony must be in cahoots with these guys because this is one hefty load of buttery goodness to be carrying around in ones pocket(as if this guy will ever see one second of pocket time ;) ).

I've CEd and CFd a few of these Bose 5-blade stockman now and always marvel at how incredibly difficult they are to make, let alone MAKE WELL! This is just plain showin off now! :D
