Bose Knives

Is it time for Blade yet?

Where is the drawing this year? :D.

Be still my beating heart.

Wow, so nice. That 6 blade congress is just blowing me away -- especially the "blades" shot from above. Tony always says that if you ever get bored, just add some blades - I rather doubt he was bored making this one. (BTW, I really appreciate your "from above" blades shots -- it's an angle that's seldom shown, yet tells more than any other just what went into making these knives.)

My second favorite would be the Big Bullet Muskrat. The backs of the blades look rounded over on this one - is this so? I know the old square bolster R4593 Remington muskrats had rounded blade backs, but I've never handled a real live original R4353 to see for sure.

And thanks for the additional congress pics!

Looks to me like the sticking blade back is rounded - at least the back of the clip portion - and the spey/skinner blade is not. Guess we need the Old Dog to weigh in on this. I understand Tony took his pattern directly off a good original R4353, so I'm just curious about some of the details. Thanks for the additional Bullet Muskrat images - this is a pretty special knife from Tony (more so than usual that is).

Well, I finally got handle a real Custom Bose at the KCA show yesterday and it truly was a super nice knife. Ivory Swayback with perfect F|F. I now know what all the "HOOPLA" is about.

It looks so. From what I have observed, Tony will gently round over the spine of the bigger knives that he makes. It's all about how the knife will feel in your hand as you use it......AS IF someone might use it. :D

The original bullets had the rounded spines. I have a couple of Tony's bullets and he made both of mine true to the original.

Send them jere, baybee, I'll use 'em.

Dang--mendezj beat me to it.

Anyway, you don't want to send them to Panama, mendezj might drop 'em in that there canal. Send them to a quiet vacation in the world's relaxation playground, the middle east.

:D

Kerry,

I sent Tony some bullets too! I hope that he shot them! Am I missing something:confused: :D :p

What more could a guy ask for? A lovely daughter and a Bose BP, fishing. Thanks for sharing, makes me wish I was there, the water looks great for fishing and since I am retired. I am trying to decide on a hobby, Being the next Knifehead Jr. (;)) or a fisherman.
