Bose Knives

2toes, do you have any closed pictures of the Lanny's clip?

Here is a different Lanny's closed...

As you are probably aware, 5-blade Bose anythings are rare. This one happens to be stamped "3", ATS-34 steel, and hafted in that crazycool old bone.

I can imagine that unmistakable sound of frantic ink pens against card stock...:D

Well let's try something fun. Let's see if you can come up with a count of all the individual parts in that knife. We will let ya'll thrash around a while before we post the answer. ;)

Those are great pictures to see John.It really puts it in place.
Ran could tell you the French Chef's assigned term for that.

Only other thing to say is,there's the Best & then all the rest .

I'll play. I say 33 pcs. or 29 if the bolsters are integral.

Single pin shield 32 parts
Double pin shield 33

Here's my breakdown
5 blades
5 bushings
2 liners
2 half liners
4 bolsters
3 springs
2 scales
1 shield
1,or 2 pin/s for shield
2 pivot pins
1 main spring pin
4 pins for scales

I wonder if the smaller blades have bushings?? Doesn't look like it from the pics.
If not, 30-31 parts.
