There was a Tony Bose sighting in Texas yesterday! Texas County, that is. It was great having the Old Dog and friend Bob stop off on their way back from a Case event to visit Don & I. We had a great meal and b.s. session, then ran out to Don's shop. Lots of knife info. and stories swapped. Enjoyable evening!

Joe, I had to get all the shots on the same page. :)

I was at the case event in branson mo. I got to meet Mr Bose for the first time! It was great. I really enjoyed talking to him. The case pres was there too, he was nice but I was more impressed with the man who actually makes the knives! He may remember me, i asked Tom Arrowsmith about a "Plumber's Knife" ....and i was wearing a Superman shirt :-) ha ha

Almost forgot...i came home with several knives, but my favorite was a stag damascus sway back jack! beautiful

oh! Tony even let me hold his personal custom knife.....AWESOME!!!

Great pictures of a good visit! Heard all about it this morning. Sure sounded like fun!

Them's some sexy legs, Don :D First thing Tony said to me when he got back was, "You thought WE lived in the boonies!" ;)

Dang, I hated missing out on a visit to the "Sunfish Forge". :grumpy:

Wish you could of been here. You need come with Tony next time he heads this way.

Oh, and Joe and I are coming over there for a visit this Fall...

Hey Don: Next time you've had a bit of success in Success.....could you send him over my way....I could use all the help I can get?

 some of the unfinished blades sitting there look massive!!! is that a big differentially heat treated bowie closest to that brown tin? sorry cant help myself...BIG blades get my blood moving! :D
Those are all large fighter and bowie blades, most just rough forged, but not heat treated yet. I try to get my forging done in the cool/cold weather and stack em like cord wood :). Not very good to light the forge this time of year. 100+ here today and into week 3 of the worst heat wave I can remember:eek:
