Bose Knives

Some day I will try those oysters!

In the meantime, I am still firmly in the Ho camp!
Tony is one of the originators, possibly THE VERY originator, of bringing the old patterns back to life, in handmade format with modern and traditional materials. And most importantly, he's kept alive the dedication to the fine details that define these knives. The subtle rounding of the handles is a fine example.
I think all the knifemakers working today will admit to his influence in these things.
I don't know if the research is complete, but in my experience that is the way it has gone down.

This is the first one of these I have seen Tony make since I have been hanging around. He didn't really call it that but we gotta call it something, right :D

The clip blade on this knife is really a true muskrat blade...you can tell that by the fact that there aren't any swedges and it has that signature slim profile. Why no swedges?.....you tell me and I bet someone will let you know if you're right or wrong.

Spectacular ivory on this little sweetie, but you didn't need me to point that out.;)

Why no swedges? Cause there is no room? It looks to me like there would be no material left above the nail nick.

You're right but there's no material left because it's a muskrat blade. They have a very narrow profile and the blade doesn't stick out of the pocket very high. Muskrat blades are all business!

I've never seen Tony use anything but spectacular ivory. And spectacular stag, and spectacular bone. Micarta? It's never less than very nice. :D

Boy that's a true POCKET knife! Slim, blades low in the handle, rounded bolsters, infinitely fondle-able Ivory;). I like the D-E shield along with all the other super details, too!
Kerry, are there sunk joints? You can't tell from the pictures.
That's a great knife, Tony! And the pics are well done, Kerry - but we have grown to expect such excellence from you guys!
