I never meant for this to sound the way some are taking it.
i meant to put last sentence in as(i am sure he has reason for that)to that effect.
But i was thinking it,just forgot to write it down,

Hey guys. This is going places no one wants it to go. If you need to discuss things, please take it out of the forum.

This is the place we see and talk about some of the best slip joint knives made. Not a place for what I'm seeing right now.

Just a friendly suggestion at this point. Don't let it escalate.

Thanks.

Back to the knives!
I am still stunned by that Ivory serpentine slim muskrat-bladed trapper!
I keep looking in my pocket, hoping there is one there, but (sigh) so far - no joy!:(

:D

I was going back through and looking through all the photos. The body of work in this thread alone is astounding.

This father and son duo caught my eye this time through the thread.

Well, I might as well toss in a Saddlehorn to help get back on topic. It's been posted before, but who knows how deep it lies in the 400 something pages of this thread

Just so its known, I could never afford one of these, but what is the handle material on those two? They are beautiful.

Kevin, I think it's pre ban elephant ivory -- some of the best that I have seen. Neither knife is mine but this thread is a real treat for me.

The stag is perfect in all respects. And because of the size of the blades, you can really see how much time he puts into finishing the metal. It's like glass.

This and the Saddlehorn have to be my two favorite patterns
