Hey Kerry,

Everyone is in awe of the knives produced by the "Bose Boys", but their beauty is enhanced and brought to life

through your superior photography! I spent many years buying many thousands of dollars of photography for the

various clients at our agency. It certainly isn't a matter of slapping down a knife and pressing the shutter, it's an intricate process

and you enhance their wonderful creations. Great job, bro...

Jeff

Having recently sold off my mini saddle horn (if you call 3.5 inch a mini), it makes me appreciate this one all the more. Lucky for me I still have my big daddy ;)

That'd be my kind of therapy! That's a gorgeous knife and a great presentation! Thanks Kerry.

Staggy-ness is next to Godly-ness.* The material intended for beautiful knives.
A great knife, and pic, from the Wilds of Wilfred!

*If this offends, I will remove it - but I think it implies the Greater Glory! We've been given many beautiful things on this lowly earth, to reflect that Glory!

Preach it, Charlie! That piece of God's Creation is singing to me!

Kerry, you and Reese done good, too. :D

Does anyone know where Tony is on his backlog? I placed an order for 2 knives in July of 2004 and he gave me an estimated wait time of 5-6 years.

I placed an order in 2005. When I called Tony about 7 months ago to find out the status, he told me he'd basically thrown out his order book and was only going to make what he wanted to make.

I appreciate the answer, that's a real bummer though. So how do you get one of Mr. Bose's knives without paying the high premiums?

surely that isn't true?
I am sure he had,or has his reasons.
I bet he never dreamed he would have the thousands of orders
he more than likely recieved.
Who could fill that?
More what I meant to say...

You telling me an order placed several years ago now finds out that
there is no such order after all the wait?
I sure hope anyone would do such a thing.
That does not sound like the character of someone so talented, and Blessed.
Those Blessings were not FREE.Those orders is what made him who he is today.
Can not believe that is TRUE?
I surely HOPE not.......

I have a link to Tony's website down there in my sig. Look in the upper right-hand corner of the BoseKnives home page and you'll see his phone number. You could use that to actually talk with him and find out for yourself. I suggest that you give him a stern talking to about his flawed character and then please report back to us and tell us how it went. :p

Seriously, anyone that ever talked with Tony about making a knife for them can call and find out where they stand on the list. It's not that difficult and it's way more dignified than what's going on up there. :thumbdn:

Thanks for the suggestion, Kerry. Folks, let's put a lid on the speculation and let the OP make his inquiry, if he chooses to.

I surely didn't mean any disrespect.
I am sure if he turns down orders,he has his reasons.
He makes the most beautiful knives I ever seen, for sure.
I just didn't believe he done such for no reason,if he did.
Not meaning any disrespect,I hope you see that.
