Bose Knives

I didn't mean to say you weren't in the club dude! Sorry if my post came across that way, I just wasn't sure if you had ever tried out the higher end collaboration knives that are made off of the actual parts that Tony has made. I wasn't excluding you at all lol. I guess they're all considered collab knives since Tony has a hand in the design and specs and basically conferences with Case on how they should be made but there is a difference between the higher end knives and the ones with Tony's name on them that are made under the standard product line.

I said I'd never spend that much on a Bose Knife either at one point. I've come to my senses and figured a couple of true Bose Knives was well worth selling off the majority of my production knives. I'm not regretting my decision one bit, they're everything that you would expect!

No worries, lol. I'm glad to know the different levels of collaboration. I think they actually have some of the higher end ones at my local store (which cannot be named) here in Lebanon, MO. I'll have to handle one next time I go in. I'm not at that obsession level yet but who knows what may come!

Jake, those cattle knives are stunning! I don't think I could leave the house with one like that. You inspired me to jump on a Bose knife when I saw it come up for sale. This is one I will actually carry and use. I just received it today, and it's really something special. A shadow 3 1/2" serpentine trapper in D2 and black linen. It's a really beautiful design, feels great in hand and is ground exceptionally thin. Can't wait to put it to use!

Nice Ben! You have customs you've used before so you know that as long as they aren't abused, they age very well. Congrats on the Bose!!

Thanks guys. It came to me used already, which makes it much easier to drop it in my pocket. The D2 took a super keen edge and it's ready for action!

I started reading through this thread from page 1 and while many of the pics are no longer there, I've learned quite a bit about the Wilfred Works knives, how some of the patterns came to be, and Tony's preferred way of doing things.

In reading, it's been said many times that the 3.5" Wharncliffe Trapper is the must have for any Bose collector/user. Tony, along with many others, say it's a pattern that they carry almost everyday. Well, I'm fortunate to add one to my pocket.

That's a gorgeous knife. I remember seeing that one posted about 100 pages ago or so and love the look of that bone. The color and jigging are perfect for the WT. I bet that slightly smaller size is just as handy too!

The knives in 440V are great to carry. You will be amazed at how happy you are with your investment when you use it. Don't be shy or reluctant to use it yourself. I just sent a few back for a fluff and buff and they look new now and are sharper than ever.

Thanks Sierra, don't worry, I won't be afraid to use it. Been carrying it all week long. I like the 440V! This is my first experience with the steel and after a little stropping, I really like how fine of an edge it will take.

I'm loving this knife!

Would someone be so kind to pm me a contact email for Tony?
I have a question about one of his knives that doesn't have a steel type stamped on it.
Thank you.
