Bose Knives

I think that knife was 62.5. That's right where I like them. Ill be interested to see how you like that after using it. I have many of those in service from the past. Haven't heard any complaints yet. With reasonable care you wont have any rust problems at that Rockwell.

No worries there, I don't foresee any complaints at all! I really like this pattern and a few friends that have used my Menefee made knife have agreed that the pattern performs really well. The ability to choke up on the blade using the choil is a very nice design element and comes in handy more than some people may think.

I'll be sure to hand this one over when my hunting buddies ask so that everyone gets a turn using it. Thank you again and rest assured, it will get used a plenty!

Be still my heart!! That's really awesome, Tony! I wish more makers had the courage to trust that their customers would use their knives responsibly and not abuse edges run at high hardnesses.

I have your Case-Bose Norfolk. A real gem of a pattern.

Thanks Andy!

Here's some size comparison photos I took today for anyone considering different sizes of the stockman by Tony or Reese in the future.

3.5" Reese Bose Shadow Stockman vs 4" Full Dress Stockman.

Pretty incredible how Reese crams 3 blades into that 3.5" stockman which is as thick/maybe even thinner than many 2 blade customs I've had.
I figure if the 3.5" stockman had bolsters and jigged bone it'd be just as thick as the 4" since the blade stock and liners seem to be identical win with.

Some better lit photos the good Dr. T took of his new piece. 1 of 1.
"Made by Tony last week at Wilferd Works during a filming of a cable television segment called
"Handmade in America". HMA is stamped on the liner inside the blade well. She is a real gem!"
