Speaking of stag...in a lightening bolt of luck, a sheer moment of a miracle, a...well you get the point, I was able to have a Drop Point Hunter made by Tony. The steel is his ground finished D2. The stag is amazing in the hand and the tapered tang is executed perfectly to give the knife the right balance.
I was told that Tony made this up quick since he was informed that I would be using it this hunting season and he wanted me to have it in time. I can't thank you enough Tony!!

An early TB knife. A micarta shadow with sheath.
"Here is one out of the middle 70s before i ever got a stamp. I sold my first knife for $15."
"In 1974 i had a guy set me to make a pair of hunting knives for his two sons for Christmas. When i got them done i ask him $40 for the set. He wouldnt buy them. Said he could buy them a Buck for that."
Some better lit photos the good Dr. T took of his new piece. 1 of 1.
"Made by Tony last week at Wilferd Works during a filming of a cable television segment called
"Handmade in America". HMA is stamped on the liner inside the blade well. She is a real gem!"
