We talked about Brad this past weekend at Mystic and I KNOW how you feel about him. I bought a bunch from couger and had no trouble at all. One knife that had bad lockup went back to him and is coming back to me next week along with one of his new models.
He went through the drug, alky thing and I believe his wife dumped him. He is trying to make a comeback, selling only existing knives, not orders.
I feel very badly for the people who got screwed(Ijust got scammed on s--t bay for $3600), but the quality of his work is undeniable- you have some yourself.
Lets see what the future brings. He may be able to restore his rep and make good on those he screwed.

Yah, the prices are really low and the styling is much more basic then it was.
I guess I have a slightly more positive attitude because I havent been screwed by either one of them.
I have no arguement with anyone about past history; experiences dont lie.
All I was saying was that I am lucky that all my transactions have been positive. I have a repair due back shortly and I will advise all how that came out.:confused:

I appreciated being able to find this thread and the info you all have posted here, being a newbie and all. I just saw a Duncan monster flipper on Ebay for sale and wanted to check out what others thought of his knives, and this thread is the first that comes up in a Google search for "Brad Duncan knife" - so thanks! I'll pass...
 
Go to where he says to send the check. As soon as crooks on the internet realize that those who they are trying to scam are real, they'll cough up what they owe real real real quick.
 
Hello all. I'm new here and just started making knives myself. I was tossing the idea of putting the name Duncan on my knives ( just started and already got three people asking me for them but im not experienced enough to be making them to sell yet) due to the fact the my last name is Duncan also, but if I would rather think up something new then being lumped together with this douche. I would just like to say Brad...You have dishonored my name...and also set an incredibly bad example for us up and coming knife makers. You sir...are a douche bag.
 
This would be grounds for a pummeling in southwestern (Cincinnati) Ohio.

I know of a new knifemaker who had an alcohol drug problem. Of course no one knew till he had a tad over four grand and seven or eight knives owed depending on who you'd believe.

I warned the guy (maker/thief) that the one fella was the wrong guy to pull that on. He knew I wasn't bullcrapping him but it's sad how once that crap gets a hold of someone they simply think "the rules" don't apply to them.

The maker was scoped out and followed pretty good for close to a couple months and a "life lesson" was administered. The money that was owed to this one particular fella was taken out of his wallet plus damages I guess was the way I was told.

He can't say he wasn't warned. I smirked at him when I saw him at the store almost three weeks after his lesson. He's a slow healer no doubt.
