the best thing to do is to call the reseller customer service number BEFORE ordering. Sometimes they'll sort through a few a find one while you're talkign to them. I found that by simply putting a note in the Notes field during the order submittal goes overlooked. Helpful hint: My experience with cocobolo is it usually on a redness scale from red to brown, not "lighter" or "darker".I am liking the colors of the Cocobolo and brass. Hopefully I can request a lighter colored, or figured one when I place my order.
Who usually accommodates requests like this?
Mine had a less of a pull on the Pen when I first took it out of the tube, but after flushing all joints it performed with the same power and effort as the Clip.
Hadn't thought of that, but now that you mention it, it's pretty neat.Love how they are using the checkered jigging, really makes it like a gunstock
I think that you may very well be right Augie . That is why I have one reserved .Love how they are using the checkered jigging, really makes it like a gunstock, I think this one could turn out to be the best of the bunch.

Just got my notice from CK for the brass and cocobolo with a surprise that some will be satin instead of polished.
