Brass is back on the menu... GEC #44

I asked for an example with Red coloration. On my packing slip there was a note that they sent the best example. I think they did a good job. Not as bright red-orange as some posted here, but the deeper colors contrast well with the brass.

You got a good one and some of the really red ones I believe are a product of the photography.

I received my cocobolo yesterday and getting a good look at it today. I applaud the factory for putting out a fine piece of craftsmanship. Thought it maybe too eccentric but I am enjoying it being different. My problem (one of them) is I like too many patterns. Whomever chamfered the cocobolo scales on my example were on their A game

Have the ebony that I posted earlier, at the Rendezvous and in the mail I also now have 2 Cocbolo's and the Tidioute jigged bone, Northfield jigged is in todays mail.

That Tidioute has a little bit darker look than what I've seen so far. Nice!

Wow! These pics of the autumn gold Northfields have me reconsidering my decision to pass on them....

If I hadn't just blown my knife budget on an unplanned purchase, there's no way I'd be able to resist.
