6in. Green canvas micarta handle.
This will be my 4th knife from him. And diff. not my last.
Hi all,
After making both of yours with the little longer blade I am glad that I went with the 6" over the 6.5". Since mine is my EDC anything longer than 6" with the sheath is to long for getting into the car or truck or just sitting down in a chair.
It will not be long now and You will have your hands on the smaller one LOL.
Facablade LOL you have a point there with what you said. but heck I love using this knife to cut and carve with, it is just freaking awesome.
Bryan
I've just been reading through this whole Topic, Great Stuff, And Thank's Bryan for all the Deadfall Trap picture's you did a great job on them, I'm just keeping up with the New Line of Breeden Knive's, The "Recon" "Combat Recon" and the Warthorn" I got It right now, 6" Blade's are real good for lot's of stuff, But we all like Big Blade's ! But now your coming out with a different design with a shorter Blade, Or the same design's and just the shorter Blade Length ?
Bryan so far what are the different Blade length's you made in this Line of Knive's "In all three design's ?
Well I'm not sure on that one, I like the Warthorn design, And If i go with that one a 7" Blade would be perfect, I also like the Combat Recon and I'll most likely go with a 6" Blade on It, I've got quite the selection of 9" Bladed Knive's already and I'm pretty well stocked In that Blade length, I'm gonna carry mine as a CQC/Survival Knife so the two above should be perfect,
The thickness on this one is 3/16, a bit thicker than a lot of people like and I believe Bryan is also making one or two in 5/32 as well....which would be better suited to woodlore type chores. I didn't do any pics of that did I...darn it I'll have to back track a bit I suppose. But remeber this one was designed for multi-purpose...for a dedicated bushcraft type knife the Pathfinder would likely be a good bit better suited. Also there is another one coming up that leans a lot more to the woodlore side of the scale but I'm thinking from what Bryan said it's probably three or four weeks away.
Hows your knife at making fuzz-sticks? I didn't see fuzz-making in the review.
