Bret Dowell Knives

Bret made me this one recently and it hasn't left my pocket - thanks again Bret! Best Jim (picture is Bret's)

Very nice, congrats! Liking the curves and the no bolsters shadow style a lot. I'd have a hard time keeping that one out of my pocket too.

I just received my first Bret Dowell knife that I bought off the Exchange here.
This knife just blew my socks off!!!! The fit and finish are the best of any knife I have ever owned. The Westinghouse Ivory Micarta is beautiful as are the blade grinds. I'm really at a loss for words because these pics, as nice as it looks, do not do it justice. Great work Bret. I think I'll be looking for another sometime soon.:thumbup::thumbup:

That's a fine looking knife! Enjoy the heck out of it!

Beautiful knife!!
Bret's work is amazing in my opinion. I appreciate a lot the overall cleanliness, the shapes, and the way he optimizes the blade lenghts!!!
The ricassoes are always kept to the minimum and the kicks flowing from the front of the handles are a nice touch.

After seeing all these nice customs posted lately I thought I'd put one up too. Here's a LC I just finished yesterday. Hope you guys like it. Its headed to a show this weekend to be delivered.

Bret, this is absolutely amazing. Looks like you used a single piece of metal for the whole knife!

Thanks guys. I had a nice big piece of ivory to work with and picked a pattern that would show it off. Hard to beat a Lanny Clip anyways.
