Buck 110/112 Transition Folding Hunter NIB

Once an auction is completed you can post a link and talk about the knife, no problem then.

Sorry Cougar and BF,

I have posted many live auction links :foot: . Not any more!!!!!. What about links to catalog sales like BP or cabelas?

Thank you for the info.

If you mean shilling sales at dealer websites other than ebay, posting things like "Look at this sale! Come and buy!" that's just as bad whether it's on ebay or not. We all know where to go when we want to buy something, or if we don't we can go to The Good, The Bad, The Ugly! and find out. The discussion forums are supposed to be places where we can relax and just talk about knives without that kind of sales pressure.

I knew I should have bought more than 1 from SMKW :(

Scott...what was the going price from SMKW and when was that?

Trax....you didn't mean any harm, nor Darryl...it was his brothers, Larry and Larry. I told you those two were the "bad seeds".

Cougar...Sorry.

Kind Regards,
Goose.

I'm trying to remember how much those 110/112 transition knives cost when they were first offered. I think it was $75. Can anyone remember if that's correct?

Does anyone remember if the 110/112 knife was ever offered in a plain version, w/o the emblem and engraving? I seem to remember there was but am not sure anymore.

These were on my list from the first moment I saw them, why I never ordered one I'll never know.:grumpy: Maybe there's a way we could convince Buck to do another small run, might be a nice club knife. . .

Yeah but....

What about some of us guys from accross the pond where Buck knives are hard to get. I have looked at some of the auctions on ebay and have purchased some before now. Surely posting a link to a ebay auction would not be a problem so that we (the forumites) can win these great knives.

I really really dont see the problem with it..

Maverick, learn to search at ebay. It takes about one second to get a list of everything you're interested in, and most auctions run for seven days so you have plenty of time to get around to looking at them. If you have any difficulty figuring out how to search ebay post in The Good, The Bad, The Ugly! and someone will help you.

well i can not post the listing but it has two hrs to go and will show on past listings of his : pappykacks( 479)
there is no way some is going to pay that for a reg issue knive!!! no one in there right mind any way ....:(
this smells and looks fishy!!! and 7 day old fish at that!!!:grumpy:
a 2002 normal issue for at
$121.oo USA dollars!

well i talked with pappykacks today. hesent me infromation that and the bidding was liget! it was a bidding war between only two guys and they were not from the usa orgionaly it seems. he was paid and has sent the knife on
HE was as shocked as we were ! could not belive it hisself!

ha keeps good records and is how he got in touch with me as i have bought from him in the past ....he keeps good records

he also has other knives i want to so i will bid on his sutff there was no shrilling on his stuff and wont be. if at any time any one is not 100% jest contact him! ..

as to the prives listing
his account did gethijacked from a trogen and he had a time with it
he tryed the privet listing there is a very valid reason for his contuneing to do so,,,
i will have no repet no problum biding on his stuff

I sure dont think i can trust him :jerkit: on any privet listing any more...
naw .... i dont think>>> i know i wont...:p
maby not evn on a public one... this is jest too much for me even
and that is MHO

...I'm steering clear of this guy. He has made every one of his auctions "Private"...As for his knives...he can stick 'em all where he sits...I wonder if he's a forum member that we are not aware of...hmmm...

If he's a member here, he certainly doesn't do his homework...that BCCI 112FG Sambar he's selling is listed as "Nickel plated bolsters" and "BOS drop-point blade"...

well then how did he get that knife,,,will have
some one tell him to do resurch here and at other forums
every wandered why he is always has knives for sale in what is hot topic?

well i talked with him today and am sastafyed that he has a very good reason for doing her oprivet listing a real good reason andi may do so also again now!!!
his account was hijacked and is why he does it as he doses it now...
i will have no issue biding or buying from him at any time in face hisrecords show i have bought from him in the pase..
he keeps good records
he is ok ...

he knows what he has ...

Doubtful...There are lots of people here who have "BCCI 112" (or "BCCI 110") in their eBay Favorite Searches...That would command a higher price than "Nickel plated BOS drop-point"...and get more hits...

Not everyone wades through 942 Buck knives looking for oddly described versions...

Some of us just put down our preferences and let the knives come to us... :p

Like that 560 listed in another auction...1 day left/$41 high bid...I don't see any familiar names there; everyone must already have a gray 560...

I have purchased from this guy in the past and he has just recently gone to private bidding. He's a retired army guy living down in South Carolina. That;s all I can say. My doubts are just enough to keep me from bidding until I know what is going on. I may just email him privately with my concerns. :(

...Might not be a bad idea Mike. He's playing a bit of a sour note to me right now. Privacy is one thing but paranoia is another. What's he hiding from? I'd never bid on a knife from a guy like this...From what I've been seeing I won't bid. But like most sellers I'm sure he doesn't care what I do or don't do...LOL...Just my 2 pennies...:D
