Thats a very nice 110. Im not much on turquoise, but i like that. :)
Thanks, that one is Wilde Bill's work. He is my favorite custom maker. They're is a lady by the name of Doris Yazzie of the Navajo nation that does some amazing work also, hoping to score one of her's some day.

This is the knife that should replace all folders everyone has. Folders just aren't as tough. Matters not how you use them. All folders are so weak they'll just fall apart sooner or later. Perhaps in 100 or 200 years or so. Less if you abuse them.

I think she got a dud,if she'd sent it to Buck they would have fixed it.

Unlike many lifetime warranties Buck goes way out of their way to repair a knife whether it's a problem caused by a defect or has been ridden hard and put up wet. I have sent mangled gunshow purchased 110's in and got back a functional, polished knife. I sent a vintage 124 pawn shop prize in for spa treatment and asked about a sheath since it came without one. Joe Houser returned it with a proper vintage sheath for no charge.

If there was not any knife laws that say you can't carry fixed blades concealed, then I would carry a fixed blade 100% of the time.

If any of the happy with their solid 110 Bucks want to send me an example they think will show me mine was indeed a dud, I'd give it week or so try and send it back to them. Of course I'd report my findings. I have thought about buying another, but I already have two Schrade lb7 and they are close, to the same.

I have one here that has all kinds of blade play in it, up and down and side play, it's so bad you can feel the lock moving.....

Not my knife, just a loaner, but you can get the idea...

Well someone has clearly misused it. That "just" dont happen.

Don't know and I don't care, it's sitting here and I don't know or care what the history is...

Have to get it back to the owner though....

I'll just get another from Wal-Mart and see how it does. If it holds up doing the same tasks my cheaper locking Kershaws, do without blade loosening, I'll declare my other one a dud. If not I'll still not be convinced the 110 is as heavy-duty as some claim.

Jill, i will say this. If you want a good good 110 find a 2 dot or round that era. There all good, but thoes ones are really nice. Again just my opinion.

I would say u just got a bad one. Thoes 110s are built pretty dang good. Not the best, but itll definitely run with them. ;)
