Buck 110 vs Modern Folders

Then explain how you would do that. And i have all kinds of folders. My two favs are a bencmade adams folder, axis lock. And a sog spec elite 2 with a arc lock. That arc lock breaks at 1,100 lbs! Crazy hu?

I believe we are talking about the 110 here..... And a lock back....

Tested all of the locks over the years for the most part......

The Lock Back is the weakest of the bunch in quality knives... And the easiest to make fail.....

There's people in this thread claim they've used them years hard, no blade play at all.

I'm one of the ones who used mine for years. But I'd never claim it was "hard use" - cutting tape(cellophane, packing, duck, electrical), string, twine, light line, rope up to 1-1/2" in diameter, stripping insulation on wires, cardboard (of various thicknesses), whittling, scraping stickers off car windows, cutting open feed sacks, sharpening pencils, cutting open cardboard tubes full of nautical charts and shipping boxes of parts, cutting rubber fuel lines, fruit tree grafting, vegetable stems during harvest time, cleaned a few fish, squirrels, deer, feather sticks, cleaned finger nails, and on and on and on... just general day-to-day use 1973 to 2001.

I believe were also talking about modern folders also.... Correct? Ok then.

OK....

American Lawman that I beat the living crap out of and it was still tight.....

Try this with a Buck 110..... My video from 4 years ago...

I'm getting no email from you buckman110 and like I said yours is turned off. If you want to send me that super 110 to try I'll need to get my address to you?

Mine died the same day I bought it doing less than that. I've never had any knife loosen up so fast in 4 directions.

Well I guess buckman isn't serious about sending me his super tough 110. I have no email and he's not replying to me here.

Looks like the legend of the super tough never loosening, Buck 110 only exists in some people's minds. I've still seen nothing but words typed showing proof it's as durable as modern folders.

Holeemoelee!
What ever happened to; Get a knife that one likes and use it with common sense?
Bucklite Max, for me.

I've used this cheap Kershaw Lifter (20 bucks) harder than I used my Buck 110 and it's still dead tight.
