How does everyone feel about the steel choice? I don’t mind CPM154 one bit, I have a lot of knives both folders and fixed in this flavor of metal and find it to be great for all around use. It doesn’t seem like Buck uses it often (?) so that kinda made it unique in this case for me and another reason I thought it was a good purchase.

its one of my favorite stainless steels Buck uses. maybe the biggest reason I bought this one. they don't seem to use it very often. its an upgrade from their 440c and even an upgrade from 154cm.

I don't think colors are gonna matter, as it's such a good looking handle.

I was happy to see one of each color in my pair but man it’s hard to choose which I like more. I’m veering off toward the blonde because it’s got so much grain popping through and a nice red line shooting down from the bolster. Many scallops cut down into darker grain leaving those dark shadow type marks along the handle, it’s so much nicer than my rainy day indoor pics!

Received mine today. No pics as it is raining. Pretty sure I got one on the lighter end of the spectrum as it is fairly brown -tan in color. I'd like to see what you others got.... very nice knife.

I'm not sure which I prefer either.

I do know that every time I hold a 113 I am reminded how much I love the feel of this particular knife.
