Buck Slim Pro

Other than it protruding past the end, I like it. I'm not a big fan of clips, but I do use them some.
 
How a clip looks is secondary to how it feels when in use. I have some knives where the clip fits into my hand while in use and I don't even notice it. Others have hot spots or just don't seat in my hand well.
 
Maybe it’ll grow on me. I will still buy it. I am a modder, so I’m sure I can tinker if needed.
 
I like the new clip. I'm a Vantage loyalist, but I will definitely buy the brown micarta slim 112.

I’m okay with the shape of the clip, I think. Hopefully it doesn't create any hot spots during use.
My biggest concern with the clip is the brightness. I would prefer a more subdued look so that it doesn’t stand out.

I will remove the clip, anyway, so I do not care. I am stoked over these knives. This is the knife (slim pro) I have been saying Buck should make for years.

The anvil cutout concept is way cool. But I agree that clip seems mighty wide. Won't matter for me, as mine will come off on Day 1.
 
Any more news on this?
I was all set to buy a Benchmade North Fork (wood) until I saw this. Now I am torn. I have several 110's for hunting but never a buck EDC. The 112 slim pro is tempting. To wait or not.
 
Trust me. The clip is badass. It may not look as nice as it should in the photos but it is a very nice clip. Clip Barely sticks up. It's not an issue.

believe Mak either got one or got to play with one at the factory already. I'll let him verify if I'm guessing close to right. lucky fella. nice being close to the factory.:)

I had a chance to handle one that a Buck employee had who was sitting at our table at the opening banquet. After handling it I decided to get both the 110 and 112 slim pro.
