Bunny Knife 2022

I'm surprised these are still available. Perhaps the weekend visitors will snatch up what's left? Technically it is a pre-order so maybe if sales falter the final tally can be adjusted so Spark doesn't get stuck with a bunch of unsold knives?

im sure ill sign up for a second one if need be, i generally do

pretty sure no one is getting stuck with any GEC knife for years now.

You know what... If a mod doesn't like it, they can delete it and/or smack me around a bit (but wouldn't it be silly to be upset about getting help with the vetting?).

Eads1999, metaxasm, Pennlu, FranklinG, Phill50, Andre Basset, Rperryman, CuzDoug85, and Hvactech all put in orders for the knife, but didn't qualify.

It's a measly 25 posts and a paid membership that supports the site. If people can't be bothered to participate at those minimal levels (or at least read the damn rules), I don't think they should be getting a knife over members with hundreds or thousand of posts in the Traditional subforum. 🤷‍♂️

Alright, time to trust the process now.
You can add SlipjointPolitiburo to that list. Zero posts before the forum knife went live, and already wants to buy a second...🤦‍♂️

So…. Is there going to be a refund of the mistaken shipping charges that 100 people were hit with? I mean it’s only $8 per person, but that’s a cool $800 on the table.

Spark said it would be refunded in the morning, but that was over three days ago.

Honestly, I wasn't expecting there to be knives available four days later. Looks like I'll have to eat my words. I was completely wrong. Apparently the high number of knives, and gold membership requirement were sufficient in keeping the scramble reasonable. :)

I guess I should have trusted the process.

I'm happy that the active members who are interested in the knife will have a fair chance to get one.

If you back last year out of the equation, the past few years have been in the 350 to 480 range, and some of those years allowed the purchase of two or more knives. The last number I saw for this year was around 320 sold in the US so far, with a limit of one knife. Anyone who wants one should be able to get one. It looks to me like sales are about where they should be.
