The requirement for 25 posts did not specify the quality of the posts, so people are trying to get them the easiest way possible unfortunately. Maybe if it was 100 posts things would have been better, or there would have just been people trying to post 100 posts quickly instead of 25.
That would be kind of OK. The point of this thread was to move all the talk that always happens about buying from the Charlie thread in Traditionals. I think the chances of that happening in Spark's thread are pretty low.

I noticed in the Trad. Forum Knife thread that a member whined about the gold membership requirement, saying it made him feel like he wasn’t part of the community without paying for a membership and was sad he’d miss out on the knife. Well he got some sympathy and someone bought him a gold membership so he could get a knife.
He then proceeds over the next week to post pics of all these knives he’s bought at various outlets to include a knife show. He’s got the money, he just didn’t want to support the forum even though the forum has now supported him, TWICE.
He didn’t meet the requirements last year either but got a friendly pass. I can’t wait till next year to see what happens!
