Bushcraft Knife challenge - Interest?

First let me say that I'm glad you weren't hurt, brother.... buffers are dangerous.

Second... Yes, I heard the tips of your knives were brittle... Quietbear told me.:p

Man, thats harsh. With friends like you, who needs otherwise!:D

Grind the spine down to meet the edge Fiddleback. May be a stonger tip now :)

I got a knife out of it. Totaly new blade shape. But not one I'm entering in this contest. I'll have one ready by Monday.

Totaly screwed up the new handle today. Cut off too much handle material at the plunge end. No luck this week. This pic shows the finished knife that could have been the contest knife. (Bottom one.)

Looks bang on to me Andy, what's wrong with it ?

Its a nice knife, but the blade is 3.5" long. The Bushfinger I'm sending in has a 4" blade.

This is my bush craft knife
o1 tool steel with walnut handle and mustard patina. I just need to get it in the mail.

I'd send that in Fiddleback!! .5" won't break the bank and the 3.5" may just give it the edge on most of the tasks.

True. It came out good, so I made a pattern. But this contest is getting a Bushfinger. I'm determined.

Yes. I really like this one too. Maybe the best in this batch.

Marcelo, if you're out there... did you get my e-mail? Need an address to send my submission to. :)

Hopefully I'll get my entry to glue today. If not, then I get got work the weekend. I don't do that very much. Regardless, it won't have that sweet green micarta. I screwed up my last bit of that.
