Bushcraft Knife challenge - Interest?

OK. Back to glue up. I'll finish this one on Monday.:D I'm out of that sweet green buralp though. This one has tan burlap with black features, and a white beauty mark pin. The flats are etched. Exposed tang. 4" blade of 5/32" thick 01 steel with a convex sabergrind.

Shaped my second set of handles on the bushcraft yesterday, this time the epoxy didn't hold. Glue up again today, hope mine makes it by the 20th.

Here it is..I know I will win some events with this one!!
UGliest 1st place
Heaviest , 1st place

...you get the picture.
I had very limited time on this one, so I had to whip it out today..I actually like it, but I would have MUCH prefered thinner stock...this thing is a TANK.

Anyway..I will ship it out ASAP

I'm wondering how that handle shape will feel in some different grips. Can't wait for the testing to begin.

Rick, beautiful knife and sheath. May ask how you colored the leather on your sheath? It really looks great.

LMAO!!!:D
Thats a sure sign of last place if I ever heard one!

I did the final touches on the handle tonight, and I think its a great blade, hell, I like it, so thats what counts right?
Honestly, It performs well ( I have already tested it;)) but I will be making another with thinner stock...maybe a few.
I can tell you, making thick stock cut like thin stock, takes some grueling time on the grinder....BUT, you ain't killin the "Sojourn"..
PS, I think the name looked better on the conceptional drawing...now all I can think of is "Frank the Tank" from "oldschool".

I have to drop out of this one, unfortunately life (and a supplier not giving me solid information about when Acraglas was coming in) got in the way of finishing the Canuckmuk. I will finish mine and give it some time, would have been nice to give it a comparison with the real makers out there, but not this time apparently. I can't make dangerous dust with the family home and they just won't leave me alone.

Here is the picture that I got of it before the first attempt at glue up with G2 that failed:

Gentlemen, while preparing my knife for shipment I had a thought. It would probably not be a bad idea to enclose a check with your submission for return postage when this is over with. If this has already been mentioned elsewhere and I missed it, I apologize.
