Just scored this old guy today. It's a Camillus New York USA Brown Rogers Bone WWI Military Issue Electrician's Knife. It was described as looking unused & unsharpend with a great patina. All I know is it looks cool as hell and built like a tank lol. Does anyone know if this knife is really that old?

Trevor, it's a World War II version... and a very nice example!:thumbsup: Camillus produced these in Rosewood and Bone. 3 3/4 inches closed. All steel construction.

Just discovered a Camillus Cutlery museum in a knife shop down in the village of Camillus. Since it’s about 5 minutes from my house, I have a feeling I’m going to be spending a lot of time (and money) there.

Ever fish the creek that goes by Camillus Cutlery? I use to when I was younger and lived in Syracuse.

That's Nine Mile Creek. It's reasonably close to my home on Onondaga Hill and one of my favorite trout streams. There's a number of nice spots to drown a fly along the road between Camillus and Marcellus.

Thanks you very much for your response Al. That makes a lot of sense. Every time I Googled ww1 Camillus New York USA Electrician's Knife it came up ww1 or nothinges at all lol. I guess it's still quite old all the same. WW1 was 1939-1945 so it's at least 78 years old if my math is right lol. I should have it somtimes this week I'll post some new pick when it arrives. Thanks again Al:thumbsup::)

As a kid, my dad used to take me to drown worms off the old bridge (now gone) that carried Martisco Road over Nine Mile Creek. I still remember as a little guy staring into the huge culvert that carries the creek under the railroad. Fond memories!
