Can I ask you Hawk guys a question? Input please..

I just sent you a PM to order one of these beauties. I like the second one best. :) Now, I have to wait! I'm not good at waiting.

That is a great deal. I like the head shape very much and the wood looks good too. I can not help but think that you could charge quite a bit more. I would think anything under $100 for something hand made like that would be a fair price...but good on you for keeping it so low, you just made owning a well made, hand made hawk an option for a lot of folks. You should get plenty of requests for these.

Hi guys..Just need to let everyone know that Lisa is putting a temporary hold on the list..There has been a lot of interest but there are enough people on the list to put the latest ones several weeks out..Now i know that dosnt sound like much but Lisa dosnt want people to get too far behind..That and with her job you just never know..She just found out she has to go out of town next week for a couple days of training..Just out of the blue..Im not much help anymore espically while watching our 2 year old boy:D Anyway as soon as it gets knocked down some she'll open it back up..In the mean time she'll try to get these to you guys as fast as possible..
Thanks for the understanding.

Do you know if you'll be starting up before June? I head out to TX for a few weeks(Also around my birthday) So I wanted to purchase one beforehand. Not these chaper ones but just a hawk in general :P About 100-150 dollars I'm thinking.

throws fast, comes with a really nicely polished convex edge, clean grind lines.

The handle is major crap(THAT IS MY HANDLE NOT A WCF HANDLE!) LOL....I just stuck it on there real quick while coming up with a real handle, I couldnt wait anymore..I had to throw it! This thing is awesome, great edge, great lines.....Throws NICE...makes a great ''WHOMP'' when it hits.If you aint on the list, I highly recommend you GET on the list! This may be the best 50 bucks I have spent in a coon's age!

One question, I assume it is but I don't want to make a mistake, is the back intended for hammering? On wood of course, not nails.

thrillbilly... you are correctly name lol using a tree with electric lighting attached as a target. Maybe you should throw from the side opposite the wiring. Looks like the hawk fever is spreading.

Whoa, that's a lot of paracord!

eh, not really..maybe 25-30 feet. I whittled/sanded/carved the handle down from a sledgehammer handle....its strong but a lil rough looking from my carving. So I covered it up real quick with 550. I will either finish the handle out better or rewrap it with leather thong....I want it a traditional hawk, and the 550 is great but not very traditional looking. I just didnt have any leather on hand.

Im glad to see everyone likes their hawks..Just a little update..i think Lisa is about halfway thru the first list..This week has been a little slow as she had to go out of town for training and my little boy packed home some kind of stomach virus from daycare..Just a few minutes ago is the first time Ive eaten since Tuesday..I think Ive lost about 10 pounds in the last few days,LOL..
I know its aggrevating waiting guys but shes doing her best..Have a good one..

Thanks for the update Kentucky. We can wait, y'all just take care of yourselves. No use over doing it and making matters worse.
