Can it be??? A GEC "Peanut"? #06 Pemberton

I believe this shield is supposed to only be used on "short run" knives.

Ah, okay.

The GEC55 has the new"Hounds Tooth" shield.

Actually, I did notice that. Let's amend my earlier statement to, "I'd like to see something (else) new on a knife I want."

Back to Pembertons: looks like the Northfield coke bottles will be screw-top. ;)

Can't wait to see the bone covers they're going to use. I have two other small coke bottle patterns, a Case red (bright red!) bone with a Coca Cola shield, and a Hen & Rooster in emerald green, both around ~3" or less.

Maybe stag this time... We'll see what the ole' bank account says when the NF Pemberton's are released :D

I really like this pattern. It looks like something I would carry on a day when I wanted to carry a minimal traditional knife. I actually dig the acrylic. One blade is enough for me, I don't seem to use pen blades near as much as I ought to. Can't really justify them.

Would like to see a lanyard hole to put it on my keychain :D

Look forward to seeing the northfield acrylic.

I'm hoping to see some variations of the Northfield pattern, master blade as a spear long pull & swedge like older peanuts with pen secondary, or a wharncliffe or coping blade as a secondary.

Pete

GEC's patterns are hit and miss with me, but i really like this, one of my only problems with the case peanut is that the blade was so narrow, if it where just a bit wider, like this #6 its a win, now i just need to be able to afford it.
