High School agriculture teacher here. Been doing it for 5 years and love it. Would be be the best job in the world if it weren't for administration and a few ignorant parents. Heck I have taught lessons on sharpening in class. We butchered a deer in the classroom last year and I plan to do it again this year. Its always a fun lesson.

Deputy Director for a large State Agency here in Illinois. Getting ready to retire December 31 after 32 years. 56 years old been into knives since I was 10.

Active Duty US Army until 31 Dec and then I'm retired with 24 years TIS. Now I have to find a "real" job.

This sounds like a perfect job for me!!:D Let me know where to apply.

I'm a structural steel detailer. I also make custom sheaths but I will not call that a job.

We need all the help we can get. But thanks to the economy and Government spending, we're likely to get furloughed. Too bad crime doesn't get furloughed, or maybe Congress just ingores that wee little detail.

I'm going to stop now before I get in trouble here. My apologies to the moderators if I've already crossed the lines.

I've done allot of jobs in the 40 years here on earth, some good and some not so good. In between those smaller jobs I trained in Martial Arts and weapons for 27 years. I was a TKD, MMA and Krav-Maga instructor for many of those 27 years and taught weapons along with Self Defense classes and with basic gun safety classes here and there, mostly privately.

After losing my vision in my right eye because of Diabetes I backed off from the fighting arts and became a certified fitness instructor. Started training MMA fighters in fitness and body conditioning for fighting.

I have always had a knife or a "tool" for many reasons and for as long as I can remember, the best I can recall it all started with my Grandfather when I was very young giving me a small folder for a birthday, he was very much into guns and knives but I was very young to really appreciate it back then.

Now - I own and run a Internet business, selling stuff I love and selling it to very interesting and fun people that I respect and appreciate very much, Those of which I get to chat with every once in a while and hear the most interesting stories. Being able to provide products to people that then go out and do things they love and enjoy and live life and have fun brings a tremendous amount of joy to what I do. I truly love what I do.

The only downside (if any) to having my business, is now I sit allot behind my desk in front of the PC and it is slowly making me lazy, nobody else in my life thinks so but I do. My health along with the Diabetes has declined from what it was some years ago. If I just put 1/2 the time into myself that I do into my business it would be better, need to work on that.

Sorry for the long rant, just thought I would share I guess.

Stay safe my friends.

-Tim

Hospital orderly. Looking to join the military as an officer, but I'm deaf in one ear... not sure how that'll go down. I'll be crushed if I work my way up to it and get refused. :(

I seem to switch career paths every few years and have had some pretty interesting jobs. But I am currently working as a municipal Sanitation Engineer!

Im a RN in SICU, 37 yo father of 2, I have a 3 yo daughter and another on the way :). My dad bought me my first knives at a flea market when I was 7, a bootleg made in china butterfly knife and a Buck 110 copy. I worked many weekends helping him split wood for those 2 blades. My first guns included a Crossman 760 Powermaster BB gun & a late 60's Browning Auto 5 12G my uncle gave me when I was 12. I moved up to a Sig 229 on my 21st birthday. I have been collecting guns & knives since.
