Told my wife if we ever go to a costume party, we could go as Major Nelson and Jeannie. I could carry a bottle and she could call me master!
Well, she did laugh! I'd probably have a hard time finding an Air Force uniform that fits, anyway!Bet that went over well.![]()

When Art Donovan ("Fatso"), a Pro Football Hall of Fame tackle for the Baltimore Colts in the 1950s, was in the Marines during WWII, he stole a case of Spam. When he was caught he was given a week to eat it, or he was going to the brig. He finished in five days.
I like your style my friend.JohnDF I apologize, I stuck my foot in my mouth so to speak. I'm all hat and no horse these days. And any man puts family first deserves much respect, my hat off to you. I'll be the first to say I'm no cowboy in the sense of you or Horsewright, I've never been that caliber. I usually tell people I'm a plain country boy not a cowboy. But I have slung many a bale of hay, plowed plenty of dirt, hoed more corn than I want to recall, hand shucked and shelled feed corn that we grew. And chopped holes in ice of the water cistern for the cows b4 school, while my sister fed them. I carried a Vic camping model back then, what did you like to carry in your cowboying days
in other words, peace brother, lets enjoy our pocket knives

Shawn, it's most definitely Spam! I think I'd trust my fate to Frank or one of our other most excellent moderators. Is it possible to report a moderator's post as "spam"? Would you have to give a self-ruling?![]()
Didn't watch much Mr Ed, but those other three shows were my favorites. How about Green Acres and Petticoat Junction? And the Diana Rigg Avengers?Ahhh those were the days.
My trifecta would have to be
Ginger off Gilligans Island
Elly May Clampett
and
Genie
Any thoughts on Carol Post from Mr Ed? bit too naggy for mine (No pun intended).
Everyone knows MaryAnne was the hot one!Ginger off Gilligans Island
Diana Rigg- I wish I'd seen her Medea. The Avengers were on Saturday afternoon by the time I was aware of them. The first one I saw must have been the last one they made.
It was on on Thursday or Friday nights here, and I had special dispensation to sneak downstairs after bedtime, past my younger sister's bedroom, avoiding the creaking floorboard, and watch it with mum and dad![]()
