(in best Droopy impersonation) "oh joy. I passed last weeks Covid test."

I hope I'll pass this week's test. My degrees went from 97.3 to 98.6 Tuesday, and stayed there all day Wednesday. :(

As far as I can tell, I don't feel any different ... maybe I should get a staffette's opinion on if I feel more weird or funky than usual to her?

By “passed”, do you mean you got it? I hope not, but if you do I hope it is a mild case. Being stuck indoors with a bunch of other people seems like the worst place to be during times like this.

That must be stressful, waiting every week for results of another test. Good luck.

That's how they get you, of course. People my age wouldn't last very long placed 12 feet apart in a field, even in a comparatively mild winter like this one so far (knock on wood).

Everybody just keep breathing.

Glad your test came back negative, and I hope you can stay on a "winning streak". :thumbsup::thumbsup:

Do you monitor your temp regularly? 97.3 to 98.6 at first glance might seem like quite an increase, but I think it depends on how much your temp typically fluctuates. I've been recoding my temp morning and evening since June, and it's ranged from 95.2 to 97.6 (although the majority of readings are in the 96 point something range). Mine also varies throughout the day. In the summer, my morning reading was almost always lower than my evening temp that day, but that has reversed since cold weather came.

"Flunked" = "Captured Some Covids".

There are ten others that reside here. A fifty plus year wedded her n' him are the only two that got a roommate. :)

We are all supposed to isolate in our room. Since it's usually below freezing out, it's "too cold" to shoot crossbow, slingshots, or fling rocks with the shepherd's sling. So, unless I have to go to a doc, dentist, or visit the really cute her vampires for "blood work", I stay in my room, anyway. They've returned to the "everyone takes meals in their room" policy. :D So other than for a shower, I don't have much cause to leave my room, anyway, since I don't smoke, or vape no more. (since two of the eleven residents use O2, the two that partake of these habits/addictions, are normally supposed to go outside in the below freezing to do so. One has a private entry/exit side. door in his room to the "patio" where smoking and vaping is allowed. One ain't. I don't know if they are allowing him to go in the below freezings, if he can temporarily smoke in his room, or if he quit smoking and/or switched to chew, like I did, 14 years ago, :D

I've been using my Christmas present with good results, so far.
I'd been holding off on sharpening this 6" Santoku. It was a very generous gift from @VCM3 (Vince), a few years ago. A 440C blade and handled with some Rosewood he got from Tony Bose (May he rest in peace). A great cutter that I really enjoy using.

Good idea. I won’t use my real surname, though. How about “J. Thomas Longtooth Tawdry“. I will need an editor, by the way...
Love it..well done Longtooth...now all you need is a old blackn white photo of you next to a giant beast that you have killed with an impossibly small weapon...eg a 26ft white pointer on a bamboo fly rod or Polar Bear with a toy slingshot...or air pistol..
Ive been in touch with the ceo of the editing firm of Grasper and Snatch (Dalmeny NSW)...and they are happy to take your work.
Now get scribbling..:D
