"Carl's Lounge" (Off-Topic Discussion, Traditional Knife "Tales & Vignettes")

Well according to the world clock site it is currently 5:48 AM on Duncan's big day.

Warmest wishes for a long and happy life together. May you and Sue always rest easy in each other's company.

Duncan & Sue!

My congratulations to the wedding and many, many Happy Years together!

The Best Wishes from my part of the world!

:)

Duncan,

All my Best.

It is a matter of tolerance.

My wife has proven that she can take a joke for 49 years.

Thought you might like to see this pic Elliott (from the 15th birthday bash of my favourite Leeds bar earlier this year) :)

By the way Fausto, that's the husband of Alice Porter holding the bottle!

In keeping with my new walk routine I snapped off another sunset pic and I thought I would share it with this group.

I made a quick visit to Otley this morning, and was hoping that the shelves would have been replenished with slipjoints since I cleared them out last month. That proved not to be the case however, "not a sausage" as the saying goes :( I did see this fellow lurking about, rather randomly, in one of the town's 'snickelways' though :D

I suspect Roger may have been named after someone! I'd have bought him for a giveaway, but if the international postage didn't bankrupt me, the quarantine laws would certainly get me into trouble! :D

I've used this as a seasonal screen-saver a few times, since it always gives me a laugh (I have a real corny sense of humour). Thought I'd share it here :)

Hi folk,

Some news to report: At 8.30am (GMT) today I became a Grandfather! :) My middle daughter, Ellie, gave birth to Lilah, weighing 61b 6oz. Mother and baby (and dad Ricky) are well, and I'll be seeing them tomorrow :)
