I was browsing through my Imgur, as I was writing an email to a painting contractor that stiffed us last year on painting our house.
I came upon this pic, and I think it's appropriate to my mood right now.
I used to wear this tie to work occasionally.

Thanks, Charlie! He's not the only painter in town! I hate to start the process again though.
That tie was a gift from a co-worker. We were at a fancy company dinner in White Plains, and he spilled a glass of red wine on a nice tan linen suit I was wearing. He paid for the cleaning and sent me the tie, saying it was his favorite. Needless to say I forgave him!
 
Looks like the weather around me is taking a cold turn. Our family was planning on tapping the maple trees this weekend to start making syrup, but I think we'll wait 1 more weekend. The fresher the taps, the better. And it doesn't look like it will be going above 35 degrees for another 7-8 days still.

I'll post some photos here during the syrup season for all to see.

Always love a good stockman and Jeff has some of the best. I treated myself to a new recliner that gets delivered tomorrow for my birthday present. I may have to carry this same Calf Roper again. They truly are about the perfect size.
