Not sure, but I think I saw a headline saying Dewey won.I avoid both. Speaking of which, how did that Dewey-Truman thing turn out?
I'd say it's almost always ridiculously fat, ha-ha. Otherwise so true, man.oh yeah and ads for local business thinly disguised as news
I think that was the right decision too, although I listen to SiriusXM most of the time.Thank goodness the Ford Motor Co. has decided to keep A.M. radios in their vehicles!!!
I listen to A.M. all the time, and have driven Fords for 40 years!!!
(I am not aiming to argue which Auto company is better!! Drive your Chevy if you must!!)![]()
Don't you gotta PAY for Sirius? AM and FM are free!I think that was the right decision too, although I listen to SiriusXM most of the time.
I think the automakers were just trying to make an extra buck or two on new cars.
Yeah you do. Gotta pay for everything! AM & FM you get to listen to commercials!Don't you gotta PAY for Sirius? AM and FM are free!
Not me! I ALWAYS turn the radio off when the commercials come on.Yeah you do. Gotta pay for everything! AM & FM you get to listen to commercials!![]()
Sounds like me watching TV with my finger poised over the mute button! I remember when I was a kid, before TV remote controls. My dad would get up out his chair and turn the volume down. Talk about a man that hated commercials! Not me! I ALWAYS turn the radio off when the commercials come on.
You do, but if you call them & tell them you want to cancel your subscription, they'll keep offering it at a lower rate until you submit. I pay $6.99+ tax, for what was a $30+tax/month plan. At the end of the year, when the rate goes back up, I'll cancel again. I've been doing that since I bought my first pickup with Sirius almost 20 years ago. Sometimes, I'll have to go without Sirius for a few months, before they mail me an offer that I can't refuse, but they always do.Don't you gotta PAY for Sirius? AM and FM are free!
Charlie says bring back the crank handle.Thank goodness the Ford Motor Co. has decided to keep A.M. radios in their vehicles!!!

A man after my own heart by the sound of your Dad Gary....and that was from when the ads were reasonably clever...now all they do is shout at you with INSANE PRICES..for OVERPRICED CRAP YOU DONT NEED OR WANNNNT.....I make a point of NEVER GIVING THEM MY MONEEEY...Sounds like me watching TV with my finger poised over the mute button! I remember when I was a kid, before TV remote controls. My dad would get up out his chair and turn the volume down. Talk about a man that hated commercials!
If someone could come up with a device that attached to your TV and could automatically detect and mute commercials, they'd make a killing!
It may be aimed squarely at me, but I can still duck and cover, even in my golden years!Advertising of today is aimed squarely at morons.
That's exactly what I do! If I had to pay the full rate I'd drop the service. I've got 2 vehicles that renew at the same time. I make a call about a week before renewal, and they make the offer I can't refuse. You do, but if you call them & tell them you want to cancel your subscription, they'll keep offering it at a lower rate until you submit.
