At least I'm retired, and can make an obscene gesture in the general direction of the night stand clock, when I notice it's an hour earlier then it should be!
I say set the clocks back a half hour, leave 'em there, and damn the rest of the world!
I think this was the first year I totally forgot about the time change when I went to bed. I slept until about 5:15am this morning, which is pretty good for me, then went downstairs to turn on the TV for local news and weather and saw 4:15 (and 31ËšF) in the corner of the newscast display. That's when I remembered "fall back", for which I had been seeing reminders all week but forgot when it mattered.I did pretty well with the time change, except I forgot to restart one of my mechanicals after an hour. Then my night light went on at the usual time so I got up an hour early. It's nap time.
I just got the stove and microwave: set them to 4:56 instead of 2:56 at first.
I was expecting it to be darker later this morning, so was pleasantly surprised. I fear I'm a little dyslexic with the motions of the spheres.Nice to take the dog out at 7:30 after his breakfast and not need a light this morning, although being almost dark by 6pm this evening won't thrill me.
If you can figure out how to do that, let me know! Could be worth a buck or two also.Maybe if I really think about it I can age backwards for a while.

Well I’ll be Wilburyed…at the end of the line.Sorry my friend but further studies showed that the subject (Roy Orbison) developed a seriously undesirable side effect (AKA Woody Allen Syndrome) and discontinued the age reversing therapy. Thereby reverting to his actual chronological age and shortly after recorded the best selling album of his career.![]()

Got me the base model Work Sharp Precision Adjust Sharpener. Love it! First tried it on a Buck 110 that came badly sharpened from the manufacturer, at least on one side. I tried to put a 15-degree angle on it, but the sharpening plate was catching the edge of the clamp, so I had to adjust to 17 degrees. Got a razor-sharp edge in just a few minutes.I've started going through my slipjoints and a lot of them need attention. I lost the use of my left arm 6 or 7 week's ago and sharpening on stones with only one useable arm just don't work. I bought a Work Sharp Precision Adjust sharpening system. So I thought that I would start giving my knives a little love and wow that new sharpening system works it has 220 320 400 800 ceramic and a strop. The screw going through the sharpener is for setting the angle from 30 to 15 degrees. I've sharpened with stones for years and this unit delivers a razor sharp edge a lot easier with great results that rival or really exceeding the old stones. over the years I puffed my chest and proudly declared I don't use any thing but stones and every one that is collecting just need to learn how to sharpen the old school way. Man was I wrong find yourself one of these sharpeners that you like and you find it works for you and start rolling up those burr's and buffing them down. Oh yeah I can sharpen using this unit with one arm.

That seems to me a good place to start, where you can feel the pull of the knife you buy before you buy it.. or should I go straight to the Case counter and start there.
