Happy time change, too, for those living in areas who do that sort of thing.
Don't get me started, Frank! 😂 ;)
At least I'm retired, and can make an obscene gesture in the general direction of the night stand clock, when I notice it's an hour earlier then it should be!
I say set the clocks back a half hour, leave 'em there, and damn the rest of the world!

I did pretty well with the time change, except I forgot to restart one of my mechanicals after an hour. Then my night light went on at the usual time so I got up an hour early. It's nap time.

I just got the stove and microwave: set them to 4:56 instead of 2:56 at first.

They went back last weekend here. I remember about 50% of the time! I know someone who is related to the feller who came up with the idea - Stupidity definitely runs in the family! 🤪

I think this was the first year I totally forgot about the time change when I went to bed. I slept until about 5:15am this morning, which is pretty good for me, then went downstairs to turn on the TV for local news and weather and saw 4:15 (and 31ËšF) in the corner of the newscast display. That's when I remembered "fall back", for which I had been seeing reminders all week but forgot when it mattered.

Nice to take the dog out at 7:30 after his breakfast and not need a light this morning, although being almost dark by 6pm this evening won't thrill me.

I was expecting it to be darker later this morning, so was pleasantly surprised. I fear I'm a little dyslexic with the motions of the spheres.
Maybe if I really think about it I can age backwards for a while.

In general, I prefer daylight saving time over daylight wasting time, and think it should be standard. Driving my school bus will be a little easier in the morning for a couple of months. Then it will be dark again in the morning for the rest of the winter. But now it will be dark when I finish up around 5:30, so any advantage I gain in the morning is lost in the afternoon.

Once I get the cataract surgery they tell me I need, it won’t matter so much either way.

Sorry my friend but further studies showed that the subject (Roy Orbison) developed a seriously undesirable side effect (AKA Woody Allen Syndrome) and discontinued the age reversing therapy. Thereby reverting to his actual chronological age and shortly after recorded the best selling album of his career. ;) ;) o_O

Well I’ll be Wilburyed…at the end of the line. 😀

I'm in the market for a new stockman I want a medium size and not hard on nails and skin, along with old age I seem to be more adversely affected by pocket knife nail nicks these days.. Anyway , I have bought a few knives of late but all modern folders and not for sharing on this little part of the internet. So I just want to know has the advancement in CNC technology done for knives what it has for guitars, used to be a sub $500 electric guitar was just crap now you can get a great one under $300. So how are the import brands like Schrade, Marbles, Rough Rider are those type brands any of them good, can you get a good knife for $25 or so. or should I go straight to the Case counter and start there. I still have some knives that are now selling for far more than I thought they ever would. so I've turned them into closet queens, I'm just trying to get back in the hobby but things have changed so much in the last few years I feel like a newbie again.🥴

Costs a bit more but Buck is fairly consistent with having a mild pull that is easy on the finger nails. Their 303 is still my favorite.
In my experience, the spring strength on the others you mentioned can be variable, depending on the model.

I've started going through my slipjoints and a lot of them need attention. I lost the use of my left arm 6 or 7 week's ago and sharpening on stones with only one useable arm just don't work. I bought a Work Sharp Precision Adjust sharpening system. So I thought that I would start giving my knives a little love and wow that new sharpening system works it has 220 320 400 800 ceramic and a strop. The screw going through the sharpener is for setting the angle from 30 to 15 degrees. I've sharpened with stones for years and this unit delivers a razor sharp edge a lot easier with great results that rival or really exceeding the old stones. over the years I puffed my chest and proudly declared I don't use any thing but stones and every one that is collecting just need to learn how to sharpen the old school way. Man was I wrong find yourself one of these sharpeners that you like and you find it works for you and start rolling up those burr's and buffing them down. Oh yeah I can sharpen using this unit with one arm.

Got me the base model Work Sharp Precision Adjust Sharpener. Love it! First tried it on a Buck 110 that came badly sharpened from the manufacturer, at least on one side. I tried to put a 15-degree angle on it, but the sharpening plate was catching the edge of the clamp, so I had to adjust to 17 degrees. Got a razor-sharp edge in just a few minutes.

Then I sharpened my 2019 Bladeforums knife at 20 degrees per side.

I'll probably refine the edges later, when I have more time, but I got very sharp edges (just ask my left arm!) in a very short time. I suspect this would not work great for small knives, like peanuts or pen knives, but I have stones and rods and am not worried! This looks like a great sharpening system for most knives, and I am happy to have purchased it.
