I see the rideo bulls as I drive through moruya....these are huge enormous beasts...all grazing peacefully together in the paddock....how to make them buck? Hmmmm oh I know...lets tie a rope around their testicles....I think I would leave the chute doing somersaults and you get off my back ya little flea....as soon as that rope comes off they trot obediantly back to the yard.....maybe its cruel...but its deffo fun to watch.

A belated Happy New Year to every one, along with the solstice celebration of your choice. The tablet I usually post from just came back from the repair shop where I had to send it before Christmas to repair/replace a failed back button. For the past ten days or so, I have been looking wistfully at the blank spot it usually occupies on my desk.

Glad you're back up and running.

I have no idea. Just saw the article and shared it. May be our American friends have more option to find out more than me from Germany

Is this about only one plant as people say, or whole company?

I live just south of Syracuse, NY, which is home to Crucible. This company has been in operation in one form or another since 1876. In the 1980s and 90s, they were one of my customers. I had the opportunity to tour the plant, which was an incredible experience. It provided me with some insight into what it must have been like for my dad, who ran a steel mill in Canton, Ohio, for many years during my childhood.
I hate to see them go and wish there was a way to keep them here in our city.
There is a fairly lengthy thread on the subject here: https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/crucible-industries-update.2017101/
Here’s a link to a 4-page history of Crucible.
