Our granddaughter is having a wedding shower tomorrow. The person who arranged it, suggested that those attending bring a recipe for the newlywed to add to her cookbook. My wife attached this pic, and this cookie recipe to her card. It's a pic of her & my wife making cookies when she was visiting back in 2009.

All the crazy stuff I've done over the years, I never thought I'd live this long. I'm not at the end of my road yet, but when I do get there, I can look back, smile, and say, "That was a hell of a ride!"

Yes. Was tracking that for my son last night on tsunami.gov . He and his family live in the evacuation zone on O'ahu. They spent last night with friends. They were too busy packing up to keep tabs on the updates.

We were fortunate in Kona and it was uneventful. Traffic was nuts though, it took my wife almost 1.5hrs to get home which should be about a 20 minute commute. Hilo had a little flooding though, but luckily nothing major.

I remember a tsunami warning back in Wollongong a couple of monts after Acheh....A busload from an old folks home went to CityBeach...and wheeled out to watch for it !!!....thatsThe Gong for you.
