Radzas Return should go down as one the nicest returns in history.
Wasn't it The Terminator who said
" Ahl be baak" ? Douglas MacArthur who said "I shall return."?... Among the great returners are
Napoleon, Eleanor of Aquitane ( Henry the Seconds Mrs),Sean Connery in Never say Never( maybe not) and of course old mate Jesus.😁🫡👍
 
Back from chair yoga, and a string of errands with the Missus, I found a belated Christmas Card in my mail!!!

Among the year's best moments is the end of year and the writing of greeting postcards.
The deer has a special meaning to me, from an ancient Hungarian legend - besides he's a relative of the famous Rudolph of the Santa's gang, of course !
La Poste suffered several hacks that made it quite totally out for days and I wondered when my card would reach the Pacific coast ! 😊

My brief visit to Paris was a highlight in my life!! I'll always remember you kind and generous people!!
 
My wife surprises me with random knife related purchases... some are good, some are questionable, and all are appreciated 😁 For Christmas she picked up this Boker razor off of Goodwill's e-commerce site for dirt cheap. I've never seen a razor with MOP on the shank/tang. I figured I would share it here and ask if anyone knows what forum/thread folks might like seeing these pics too? I searched the razors and scissors forum but didn't see a definitive thread for photos over there.

You could start your own thread. I see at least one other member who started a thread to display his antique razor. So you could start one about your specific razor, or you could start a picture thread for photos of antique razors that members have.

Fancy hard rubber,that's an interesting description .but I love to put my nails in hard/somewhat soft rubber so that if I had that razor it would end up with a bunch of nail indents lol.
 
Any of you guys ever actually used a cutthroat razor? I did once...Once.
Funny story.
About 10 years ago..probably 13..prepping up to go out for the firemans xmas dinner in Wollongong with the ex Mrs....waiting for baby sitter to arrive....I was ordered to shave.
Had a Wade & Butcher (operative word) wedge razor that I bought out of interest. Stropped her up ,lathered my face up....had a scrape.....1st timer obviously so didn't really achieve the same stubble removal I had expected.
Undaunted I had a couple more goes on my face....then touched my chin with the point....opened up like a shark bite....bleeding like a stuck pig.
Plugged it up with toilet paper and she took me to the Medical centre....once the baby sitter arrived....called the dudes said we'll be a bit late.
Thankfully the Dr on duty Mahesh Patel was a micro surgeon by trade.
He pretended to have shaky hands and said "I'll be back in a minute...just got to have a nip of rum to steady my hands" Jeez we laughed....while I bled.
5 sticthes later and we we on our way to dinner...
