I hope all those touched by such sadness find comfort, strength and consolation in the company of their friends and family.
 
Gary, Carl, Scruff. Thank you. She is putting on a brave face. Big brother mode is kicking in, but all I can do is hold her while she cries, or act my usual goofy self and get a laugh. My other two sisters and little brother have taken good care of her, as well as all of the family and immediate family. I'm glad that the girls got the chance to hang out over the weekend, just spend some time together.

It's so obvious, but is sadly largely forgotten these days. I forget even now, after my accident. Hug your loved ones, you never know when they, or you, will be gone.
 
Dan - smoke and prayers sent for the involved people and their families. I hope everything will turn well again. Though it will need time to cure after such a tragic event. :(
 
Oh, gosh, Dan, that's terrible... You and your sister have my deepest sympathy. I've been in a position similar to yours more times than I would have liked, so I understand what you and she are experiencing. Your sister is lucky to have such a loving older brother, to help her through this difficult time. You're doing the right thing - "big brother mode" is the best thing you can give her. My thoughts and prayers are with you, brother.
