KALBI! Just started grilling 20 pounds of flanken style ribs that have been in Korean marinade about 24 hours. Wife deviled a dozen eggs and made 5 pounds of potato salad, and we'll grill about a dozens ears of fresh white corn too.

Just waiting for my oldest daughter and her husband to arrive.
 
That's good Bill. It's a step in the right direction for her and her husband and you and your wife too. You're right. Life does suck sometimes but thankfully, we come out of those experiences a little bit stronger. Just so happens that the wife and I are having the USA version of BBQ pork ribs today. New driveway. Three neighbors hired a good paving company to put in new driveways. The neighbors wanted me in too, but I waited until the pavers showed up early this morning. After a little more than 1/2 hour going back and forth with one of the owner's sons, I got the best deal of us all. They're now prepping another neighbor's drive for the fifth driveway. There's 8 of them out here, and they're making good time. Even paying 20% less than my neighbors, it's just another expense I hated paying. Seems something or the other is always trying to suck my wallet dry.
