To unwind from the demanding task of playing Captain Queeg [In The Caine Mutiny], Humphrey Bogart took a cruise on his boat, the "Santana" after production wrapped. But Bogart was not to escape Captain Queeg so easily. With the first jostle of the boat, hundreds of little ball bearings hidden throughout the boat by Frank Sinatra rolled out, clattering all over the counters and deck. Bogart reportedly said, "I could have killed Frankie at first, but it was a hell of a gag."
Hello porch family. I wanted to give everyone an update of why I've been so absent.
My fiance and I were expecting our second child and on April 6th at 21:21 it was that time. She gave birth to a very premature 3lb 6 oz little boy that we named Christopher. Well, the hospital kept him for observations due to complications and he was kept on a heart monitor and in an incubator. 2 weeks after he was born he left us. It has been very very hard on us and we are doing everything we can to keep our spirits up. I want to express my apologies to those whom I've been chatting with and just abruptly left our conversations as well as to those whose threads I was participating in. I'm still lurking as I just can't leave my porch family as that would be heartbreaking as well. I will slowly continue to post more and more again and will be up in full swing I'm sure without haste. Again, sorry for airing out my dirty laundry but I had to keep you all informed.
Sincerely,
Rob
