I have that problem as well. The deer come into the yard and eat out of the garden. At least with the smaller varmits Like ground hogs, I can control them with the pellet gun. Too residential to shoot the deer.

So is it a bad thing that I've spent the last two weeks scouring the Internet, looking for traditional knives that may catch my eye? I've bought seven in that time frame. It would seem that I have, indeed, become infected by traditionals. Does it ever end? :P

Don't know yet John !!

After a fairly solid 10 years Ive only just started to slow down.By that I mean become more discerning in my purchasement of knives.By which I mean I buy fewer but they cost more.:D

I have 5 tabs open for knife retailers and one tab open with tang stamp charts. I continue to tell myself that I cannot purchase anything until after purchasing my pre-orders, but obviously, what I tell myself isn't considered important. You are not alone, John.

It ends. Or at least, it did for me.

I find myself getting choosier. I want them good and cheap, not good or cheap. [Oh, and this is me, awaiting trick-or-treaters, of course.].

Can't seem to rotate a pic anymore. I blame Windows 10, which had better be gathering rosebuds while it may, because I've had it.

I had 10. It crashed multiple times. Finally it crashed so hard that reinstalling it required wiping the drive. I figured if I was gong to have to wipe the drive, I'd install a stable system. That would be Win 7, apparently the last true desktop system MS will ever make. I'll run it till they kill it.

Windows 10 is terrible. My father who is very computer illiterate and only uses the computer for fixing his pictures on photoshop and camera programs and the occasional internet shopping, tells me the computer is telling him to upgrade to 10. So I sit down and watch the upgrade, half an hour later, the computer no longer goes on the internet. This was one of those trials for windows 10 upgrade so you can switch back. What a headache. that is not to say mac is superior, but in the 5 years that ive had mac, ive only had to reimage 3 times vs the X amount of times for windows os issues. which isnt bad.

I work with Windows 10 every day, but at home we have mostly Mac's. Having said that, I do have one PC that is about 5 years old and was running Windows 7, but getting very slow. I upgraded to Windows 10 and it made it substantially faster.

Well, we had 115 kids tonight. Came close to running out of candy - down to the last box of chocolate bars. Now it's on to Christmas :)

My son went as Alvin from Alvin and the Chipmunks. Here is him sorting through his haul.

Between the three kids they brought in over 15 lbs. of candy this year!! We didn't even hit the whole neighborhood and they filled their buckets three times. We had to keep coming back to the house to empty their buckets so that we could keep going. I looked it up on Amazon and it looks like they got around $80 worth of candy! We'll be giving a lot of it away, because I bet we don't go through 15 lbs. of candy in 3 years. They did have a blast though, and our neighborhood goes nuts with the candy they give out. I hope you all had as good of a Halloween as we did.

We had more than last year, but maybe not 12. Maybe it was the friendlier pumpkin. Older and remoter, too, some of them, but all in costume and well-behaved.
