Thanks for the update buddy. We're continuing to pray for Bob, his family, and the medical staff attending to him.
 
Has anyone else heard anything about Bob the last I heard was from his daughter about 9:00 this morning I think it was the same text Paul got. Honestly it didn't sound good Lan said they called them back to the hospital at 3:00 this morning and they were going home to get some rest. I've had him on my mind all day and would ask all to pray, send smoke, have him in your thoughts or what ever it is that you do. I'm going to wait a while before I text them so they can rest. Thanks to all of you for this.

Since so many folks (some new to the porch) are praying for Bob, I thought it might be nice to put a face with the forum member. Although, his avatar is pretty awesome in and of itself.

We are concentrating all our thoughts on Bob getting better. Thanks for the updates Randy and Paul and the lovely photo Daniel.

I'm worried for a friend - whom with a few good friends who contact Bob but yet to meet Bob in person - wish with all our might that Bob comes through this so he can grasp that gift of life and run with it for some time yet.
 
I've not been around as much as many here, but Bob has been a shining example of the type of folks that call this Porch home. The few times I've talked/typed to him directly, he was always very polite and knowledgeable. Thanks Tilly for posting that picture, so I can put a face to the name. I hope to hear some encouraging news about him soon.

Nothing new Randy, it's always hard to decide if and when to reach out, like you say they went home to rest and one never knows if it's a disturbance? A text though seems less bothersome and I don't feel Lan objects in anyway as she knows how we all feel. Like you said he's been on my mind all day. Please Randy if your ok with reaching out to Lan please do. I know it was dire last night and hoping with all my heart the tide has turned.
 
Just got in from work and did not want to hear news of this nature about my friend. I have had Bob on my mind and in my heart and prayers a lot today. I know this is tough on his family. I pray for strength for them all. Thanks to all who have provided these updates.
 
Lan just text, no change from early this morning, heavily sedated to keep Bob comfortable. She passes along sincere thanks to all praying for Bob. They just returned from the hospital now.

Well, that's not great news but certainly not terrible either. At least he is still with us, he's comfortable, and he's surrounded by his loved ones. There is mercy and hope to be found there. Thanks for the update Paul.
