Your right I forgot about that meako. Chuck Berry was a Rock and Roll legend with many somgs to his credit but the one that always stands out in my mind was "My Ding-a-Ling" I can see him "crossing old Turtle Creek". :D

also fun fact that ive learned. Johnny Be Goode is a song by Chuck Berry not Michael J. Fox. He might have a cover for the movie but its not his. Also its on the voyager 1 gold record!
 
Well since Chuck Berry recorded that song in about 1958, I'm pretty sure that was way before Micheal J Fox's time. :D

Jack that song has been covered at one time or another by everyone including me in bars all over the south east.

seee!!!! i knew it, which believe me, at the time I first saw the movie, I dont think i was paying attention to the chronological anomaly. only later when I got more into music and movies did I notice that
 
Please say a prayer for my pup, the danged dog is a canine vacuum cleaner, hes passed socks, rope toys etc. He hasn't eaten anything since Saturday, and that was just a few gulps of chicken broth. He's at the vet, waiting for xrays to determine if he needs surgery. He got some IV fluids yesterday, a painkiller injection and some antibiotics. Hopefully they won't have to slice him open, and if they do, hopefully he will not have intestinal necrosis. I am beside myself, literally, no fat jokes today. My coping mechanism is to eat, I can't do that. A local knife dealer that I work with often, has said he'll take a look at my collection, for vet bills etc.

It has even been covered by Judas Priest :D (an unapologetic Priest fan here...)

But yes, was surely bummed to here of Mr. Berry's passing. Losing a lot of good ones as of late.

Man what is going on with the Porch's K-9 friends. I sure do hope your pup is okay Sllenthunterstudios. You hang in there my friend I know it's a very stressful situation for you.

Damn; silenthunderstudios: That is never good news. Let's hope this comes out okay. Pulling for you here. I hate hearing that any dog is suffering and may have to go through this.

It does seem like we're losing a lot of people lately. But, I think it's a matter of what we pay attention to. Being 64 this year, I'm wondering: "Will you still need me, will you still feed me" < Never mind. I lost my mind for a minute.

A lot of those we have lost were our contemporaries, i.e. David Bowie, Chuck Berry, Debbie Reynolds and so on. So, we feel our own mortality coming closer?

Hate to be morose, if I am. Imagine what it will be like when we lose say; Paul McCartney or Mick Jagger? Just thinking out loud.
