Don't you hate it when your coffee comes out of your nostrils.

I took a selfy of me looking at the offending selfie post just to commemorate the occasion. Kaaah so annoying.

What an amazing creature, if you dont mind me asking- how do you keep that lovely speciman - does it have free run of the house- is so- what about your pets? :D My youngest daughter is named Daisy :)

I used to be in the hotel trade and at one of my jobs one of the receptionist' nicknamed me Daisy-moo, which of course eventually became Daisy. I just bit my lip and got on with it but when the other managers started introducing me to clients as Daisy I had to draw the line.

Was thinking of you today Paul, a flying visit I'm afraid, but long overdue

Botanical Gardens (and Bear Pit), Sheffield.

Jack Black Jack Black

Oh Nostalgia! :D

Ita been a few years since I was there Jack, when I visited my grandparents (who were last in Walton Road) I used to walk there every day. They spent a fortune on restoring the greenhouses - as I'm sure you're well aware, probably more so than me. I think they did a fantastic job. Feeding the squirrels there used to be a highlight when I was a little' un. And I used to stare in fascination at the fossilised tree trunk :)

Sheffield through your lenses eye is beautiful Jack. The gardens look like the perfect place for a Sunday stroll thank you for sharing.

Thanks Randy, hope you're doing good my friend :)

I forget when I was last there Paul, but it could be 20 years ago, maybe even more. When I was a kid, me and my friends would sometimes climb over the wall at night, it was a great place to play 'hide and seek' :D

Hi mate
Thanks for your interest Duncan. The snake in the photo is one of 3 pythons at our place.
His name is Oz . Coastal carpet python. He is my latest acquisition. All three are rescue jobs or handed in and needed a new home.
This is done by ballot on email from the Illawarra Reptile Society. I also need to pay a yearly license fee. Oz is most likely an escaped pet. He was found in the streets of Camperdown in inner city Sydney. Not his usual range. So now he is microchipped abd belongs to me for his care and housing.
I built a house for him with sliding glass doors and the hides ,shelves and branches he likes to curl up on. Interestingly although he us a tad over 2m long he doesnt need a huge enclosure. He could be squeezed into a gumboot and be comfy. The only time you see a snake stretched out full length is when its dead usually.Oz is very relaxed. The thing to realise is they are not pets in the same sense as a dog.If we treat them gently and dont stress them they tolerate us. Thats the best I can describe it. Beautiful animals but dangerous if their power is not respected.

The day I got home my wife made a big ole chicken casserole with all the fixins' (my favorite) and tonight I found this on the exchange and bought it. (This is the sellers picture)

Congrats on your new Viper and your chicken casserole, Randy; glad you already got your first two wishes!:)
Doesn't the genie usually grant 3 wishes in the stories? What's your third wish?? :D

Jack you picture post inspired me. I can't drive yet or even go anywhere for that matter but, how about a stroll around my yard.
...
Thanks for taking us on a stroll around your yard, Randy; looks like a fantastic place to relax and get away from it all!!:cool::thumbsup:

I spent Saturday at one of my favorite places eating one of my favorite foods with my most favorite person....
Great photos of what looks like an ideal day, leghog; you Nationals fans have a lot to celebrate so far this year!:cool: Quite a difference from what I remember about the Senators when I was a lad! I hope Max Scherzer has a stellar year; I was sorry to see the Tigers let him go.

Lovely - no in fact Beautiful homestead Randy.

Maemo. That was real interesting- thank you - astonishing creature- I too would build a great home for him as you have- thank you for caring for animals so kindly as you do my friend.
I respect people greatly who treat animals so kindly.

I like snakes in general and have no particular fear of them, other than the good sense to give the venomous ones a wide berth. Yours is a beauty there.
