I guess he thinks I'm the biggest liar on the porch I told him I would send it in a few days not realizing my little hospital trip would last 7 weeks. Anyway sorry for rambling I'm just glad to be back.

My wife just found out her brother was in a motorcycle accident a couple days ago in Houston. His roommate finally called the hospitals when he didnt come home. 7 broken ribs, a couple cracked vertebrae, a punctured lung, and internal bleeding has him ICU. He has a surgery scheduled for tomorrow.

Laura is taking a flight to Houston at 4am and will be gone 5 days. The girls and I are staying here in TN.

Im not a hockey fan, but I have to admit it is cool to see the Preds doing well.

All the best there for your Brother in law Brett, as smashed up as he is- they can fix things pretty darned good in those ICU's - Fingers crossed and please keep us posted!

Laura's holding up. Texas is always stressful for her when she visits so this just compounds it. Her family is doing well that the all clear has been given. He has a rough road ahead of him for a few months.

The girls and I are having daddy fun days till Laura gets home Saturday. We've pulled the king mattress into the living room and are currently having a jump/dance party. :D
 
Brett, I hate to hear that your BIL was hurt. I will include Chris in my prayers and pray for the family.
It's gotten so dangerous to ride a motorcycle these days. I sure miss mine, but my wife is happy it's gone.

One of my former work mates stopped by the shop this morning on his way to work. He had just been involved in a hit and run on his Harley. Fortunately he wasn't hurt. We straightened foot peg bracket and got him back on the road.
