"Carl's Lounge" (Off-Topic Discussion, Traditional Knife "Tales & Vignettes")

My oldest daughter had to have back surgery and her husband works at the hospital and has a crazy schedule so we have the granddaughters 7 and 11 for a few days. I love them but I had forgot how hectic early mornings were getting kids ready, feed an off to school. I guess I'm use to leisurely mornings with everyone doing their on thing. We have two granddaughters that live with us but they are 17 and 19 have their own cars one is in college locally the other a senior in high school and need no assistance. I'll just say I'm feeling my age this morning. :D

I'll bet you are Randy. I don't think I could do it now to be honest. Matter of fact, I know I couldn't. Here's to a speedy recovery for your daughter. Hang in there brother.

Your wish has been granted, Randy. You are no longer bored.

As some of y'all might recall, we lost our Doxie "Hootie" unexpectedly some time ago. We took it really hard.

Well, meet our new Doxie "Utah". She's a real hand full. She's all over the place with her nose everywhere and scooping up whatever she finds - should have named her "Hoover".

We hate to see them leave, Ed. Congrats on Utah! She's a cutie!

Ed, That wee thing looks absolutely adorable.
Still to this day I get tears in my eyes thinking about my two boys who had to leave me!
