When I was living in Burgundy she used to put mice heads on my pillow in front of me when I was sleeping, then made a saraband until I'd wake up. I loved that (hmm !
I read that too. And she was right, in a way, I never caught a mouse!funny, ive read some where its because they dont think you can hunt for yourself, so they bring you food!![]()
That's why I'll never have a cat-door again. I once had a cat that liked to bring in live toys to play with: snakes, cicadas, etc.In my experience with cats, they seem better at importing rodents than dispatching them. Nothing like chasing a vole through the house trying to catch it and get it back outside.
I don't think they were bringing us food. I think they were stocking their own private game preserve.
I hope so. I took it from her and let it go under the sago palm in the back of the yard. It didn't have any puncture marks that I could see, but it was rather distressed.Oh R8shell I hope that lovely wee Lizard lived?![]()
Ed, I see you are in NE CA. Must be up in the mountains? I'd think the weather is much milder on the coast.72º yesterday afternoon; 29º through the night -- no snow. We need snow.I bought a new leaf blower to use as a snow blower last year. It worked great. All the snow shovels have been checked out and are ready to go and my small garden tractor with plow is gassed up, oiled, and ready to go. It has snowed here as early as 6 September since we've lived here and as late as mid-June. About four years ago, we woke up the morning after Thanksgiving Day and there was about two feet of snow on the ground that had fallen overnight. Now that was a happy day. The couple/three feral cats we have around here take shelter and sleep in the wood shed
Yikes!! When did Carl's Lounge turn into the Pussycat Lounge???
