Wonderful job. Thanks for posting that, Scruff.
That Yew is gorgeous.
Enzo blade?
12C27?

Thank you sir.

It's Yew, with a brass bolster and birch bark spacer. An Enzo blade yes, but in O1.

This was the first time in MANY puukko's I've used an off the shelf bolster. Speeds things up a good deal, but it needs an attractive piece of wood behind it I reckon.

Great Expectations we have of you Scruff :)

Turned out really well. Is Yew hard wood to work with? I imagine it could be very tough?

Thanks, Will

Actually, it was easier to work than I remembered. It is perhaps not the densist piece what with it have both sap and heartier wood. It's comes up quickly though, which is the sign of a denser wood, I've found anyway.

Folks, please advise, if I post something in The Exchange, For Sale, do I really have to post NO TRADES in order to avoid unsolicited PM's!? Also, NO WILD OFFERS?

Scruff I don't think anything will curtail some people from making lowball offer, trying to trade a SAK for a 77 TC Barlow or wanting F&F additional money for G&S. The Exchange is a great place to buy or sale but it's like eating fish you have to pick out the bones. :D:D

scruffuk scruffuk I've got some partly chewed gum that still has some flavor left in it, 27 cents in pocket change, and a slightly bent paper clip. Sure you don't want to trade for that? I can throw in the foil wrapper for the gum if that'll close the deal. :D

Alternately, you could always counter offer with a price $20 higher than your listed price. If a lowball offer is considered inoffensive, then an offer to charge more should be just as inoffensive.
